ESU 50012 ECoSBoost - 7A External Booster/Amplifier
Amplifiers (also called "boosters") are indispensable components of every large model railway system: If the power consumption of all moving trains with their functions, the lighting of the carriages and functional models is greater than the maximum current that the central unit can supply, you must divide your system into several supply sections, each of which is supplied by its own booster. The ECoSBoost is designed for exactly this task: It is perfectly tailored to use with our ESU ECoS. The ECoSBoost delivers 7A output current and is supplied with a suitably dimensioned power supply unit.
The operating software of the microcontroller integrated in every ECoSBoost can be updated fully automatically by the ECoS control center if required. This way, your ECoSBoost is always up to date with the latest technology.
